What do you do for someone who is over 165 years old? Well, in the case of Buffalo Bill, you hold a birthday bash. Once again, Golden's Buffalo Bill Days Inc. will host the 32nd annual Buffalo Bill Birthday Bash at the historic Buffalo Rose Events Center in downtown Golden at 1119 Washington Ave. The event takes place on Saturday February 23, 2013 from 11AM until 6PM and features contests for re-enactors for both their costumes and presentations. Categories include Buffalo Bill, Old West Male, Old West Female and Military Male and prizes will be awarded to the best three contestants in each category as determined by independent judges. There will also be prizes for the best overall costume, both male and female.

Good listening music will be provided. Food and beverages will be available for purchase and of course, all those who dress for the event can participate in the panorama photo shoot. Entry fees for re-enactors are $25, costume entrants fees are $15 and those who just want to be there for the fun and watching will be charged a $5 general admission fee.

Entry and Advertising Release: In consideration of acceptance of event entries, entrant agrees to permit the Golden Buffalo Bill Days Committee to use their names and/or photographs, films or tapes of the event for publicity, advertising and commercial promotion, before, during and after the event and will hereby relinquish any rights whatsoever to any photographs, films or tapes taken in connection with the event and gives permission to publish or sell or otherwise dispose of said photographs films or tapes. All publicity and advertising rights are hereby given to and reserved by the Golden Buffalo Bill Days Committee.
